Who is SystemVET?

System Medical Inc. dba SystemVET was incorporated in the state of Florida in 2001 by Jim Arnold and his wife Rosemary. 

Jim has a BS degree in Biology. After graduating college, he worked extensively in the medical field selling/marketing and developing critical care medical products.  He and Rosemary raised their four daughters constantly having animals in the house.  Each pet quickly became part of the family and played a special role in their life.  With this love of animals and over 20 years experience with medical equipment, it seemed only logical that a veterinary business focusing on critical care medical products made sense. 

In 2009 SystemVET took on a new partner, Dale Kosted DVM, as the Medical Director of SystemVET. Dale has been a respected friend for over ten years and brings a mutual passion to improving veterinary patient outcomes and over 20 years experience as a Veterinary practitioner in his own practice. 

SystemVET continues selling the very successful American manufactured monitor that a previous company abandoned to sell more profitable Chinese monitors. We also continue to develop new technologies for the veterinary market. The most recent product development is an autoclavable skin stapler developed by Dale Kosted DVM. This is a product that fits the needs of the veterinary practitioner as only a fellow Veterinarian would understand. 

SystemVET moves forward as a company with a focus on the veterinary patient and takes seriously the medical needs of these patients. We fully understand the bond between the pet owner and the pet because that bond exists in our own lives. We will never follow the path of so many import companies and catalog houses that profit in the veterinary market by flooding it with low quality imported Chinese products through expensive cartoon ads.  

We measure our success not on profits or margins, but by how many patient outcomes we have improved. This must be our passion and focus. If we can, in a small way, be positively involved in this process, and it can be noticed by veterinary clinicians, than we will be successful.
